Illustrations
I thought I would share a couple of old pieces of mine from another lifetime and definitely not cartoons. The woman is colored pencil and the boat is watercolor and ink.

Sketchbook
A few recent pieces from the sketchbook.
Seahorse and Jellyfish sketch
A cartoon sketch of a seahorse and jellyfish for an ongoing project.
Hermit Crab

A hermit crab sketch for an ocean-themed freelance project.

Update: A look at the finished color version.
Silverpoint
This is an old illustration of mine that may not be tremendously interesting, other than the fact that it was created using a technique that most of you are probably unfamiliar with: silverpoint.
Silverpoint is created by using a wire of silver inserted into a mechanical pencil holder, and drawing on a board coated with white clay. As you draw, the wire leaves behind a faint line of silver that tarnishes over time and turns rusty brown.
The apparent texture you see is not from the paper, but from building up the darker areas with crosshatching. The white highlights have little or no crosshatching at all.
The drawing is approximately 4″ x 6″.
