Pickpocket

This is a sketch for a bank ad, believe it or not. The bank that commissioned the cartoon wanted to tout their own lack of ATM and checking fees, while highlighting the the recent changes of their competitors.

Fish Sketch Reject

This is a sketch I did for the recent Flirty Fish design, but rejected on my own as too static for the purpose. I thought I might put it in the background with a few others, but changed my mind as that probably would have been too busy. Still, I kept it and will probably finish it later to put on my site. I just realized that I seem to have a lot of fish cartoons for some reason.

Flirty Fish

A second and third sketch of the fish for a client’s boat. Next week, I’ll post the completed color version.

Elvis Fish

Here is a sketch for a client that I thought had a hint of Elvis at first glance, so I took it in that direction.

Wizard’s Castle HD

Now available in the App Store, for the iPad 2! Here’s a link to a short demo.

Pilots

Truckin’

Here’s a rough sketch created for a client that is marketing a unique line of candles, and needed a set of cartoons for the labels.

Treadmill

A quick look at a cartoon in progress for a client.

Gangster

Here’s a look at a rejected sketch for a client. I used to do a lot of crosshatch long ago, and it kinda came back all by itself when this sketch hit the paper.

Lift Off Animation

This is a quick cartoon I created to test out the iPad app Animation Desk. I thought my grandson would enjoy the subject, so we have this rather than a traditional walk cycle.
