I came across this website and immediately bookmarked it. Producing a “perfect book” caught my eye, but the love this guy has for graphic design oozes out of every page and dribbles from each word. I’ve only just begun to sift through all of the articles and I look forward to poring over them all.

Here’s another icon from the iPhone game I’m helping out with. It’s another piece from a sketch that was finished directly in Illustrator and Photoshop without inking on paper first.

Shop Local Billboard

Here is a replacement I created for the local Chamber of Commerce Boulder Dash billboard that has been up for some time now. Since the Boulder Dash was run on May 1st, they’ve been a bit tardy in getting around to working up a new one. But I think this one turned out quite well, simple and clean. Telescope

One of the projects I’m working on at the moment is an iPhone game, programmed by an independent developer. Below is one of the icons I banged out, uncharacteristically by Wacom tablet alone, no ink and paper version. The color was added via Illustrator and I’ve added the space background for this post. It won’t appear in the game version.

Here is the finished fish sketch from a few posts back. I’ve taken the hook out to make him a bit more versatile and useful to a wider audience once I get him on my website pages and available for download. The color for this one was added in Illustrator.

Here is another Flash test file I’ve made to re-create the classic Saturday morning cartoon effect I grew up with: a scrolling background scene with objects moving at various speeds to give the illusion of depth.
