Big Dog Color
As is my custom, whenever clients reject a sketch or concept that I’ve fleshed out to a good extent, I’ll go to finish on it and put it on my websites for my visitors to use. It’s a good way to grow my website toon collection, and my time spent sketching ideas can be turned into something useful to somebody, somewhere.

Another Pig Post
It’s getting to be that time of year… the time of year that I get all sorts of requests for BBQ team logos. So I thought I would post another from sketch to finished color art. This one was colored in Illustrator rather than Photoshop because these types of illustrations are usually intended for t-shirts, aprons and trucks.

Caveman Cartoon
Here’s a recent cartoon for a little league soccer team. I’ve also recently started using a brush pen for inking. It seems to give me a smoother and more dynamic line than the steel nibs. It’s very easy to get a broad stroke and transition to a fine line. It also encourages me to be looser with my inks and I like that.
